While the New Ohio Union project is underway, the Multicultural Center has temporarily relocated to 128 Lincoln Tower.
The Multicultural Center at The Ohio State University exists to provide intellectual and cultural enrichment, programs & services, and facilities; and to create a community* environment that recognizes cultural differences, respects cultural uniqueness, and facilitates cross-cultural interaction, learning and appreciation.
*The Ohio State University community consists of students, faculty, staff, administrators, and intentionally includes alumni and other members of the broader community.

African American Student Services

American Indian Student Services
American Indian Student Services (AISS) hopes to make a big campus seem small by creating a one-on-one approach to student needs and by helping to build community and leadership. AISS offers funding and leadership opportunities to students interested in working with native students, and AISS creates programming that is directly a result of what AISS students say they want to see.

Asian American Student Services
The office of Asian American (ASAM) Student Services strives to enhance the diversity and global perspectives of the university and surrounding community though educational, cultural and social programming. The ASAM office assesses and advocates for a campus climate of understanding and responsiveness to students and their needs within the academic mission of the university. The office also serves any person choosing to explore and to integrate mainstream identity and ethnic heritage identity.

GLBT Student Services
GLBT Student Services provides support, advocacy, and programming for GLBT students, staff, and faculty at Ohio State University. We also seek to educate the wider OSU community about heterosexism and homophobia in order to create a more inclusive and welcoming campus climate for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex individuals and their allies.

New Diversity Initiatives
New Diversity Initiatives (NDI), created in 2002, works to serve students by offering forums and programs assessing the needs of cross-cultural constituencies on the campus. The NDI office addresses issues of multiculturalism and diversity within the OSU student population.
